Our Leadership Team

Jeff Smith joined PCS eight years ago following leadership positions at Atlas Energy and Wells Real Estate. As CEO of PCS, Jeff oversees the development of crucial initiatives, strategies, and partnerships, and directs ongoing communication with stakeholders and the Board. He oversees PCS’ day-to-day capital raising efforts for our current offerings. With 20+ years experience, Mr. Smith has served on, or managed, teams collectively raising $10+ Billion in the alternatives industry.

Eric Graber is EVP of National Sales for PCS. In this role, he oversees our external wholesaling teams across the U.S. and is responsible for all sales activities and product partner relationships. Joining PCS in 2018, Eric brings 18+ years of experience in the financial services industry, including 13 years in alternative investments. Mr. Graber has a successful track record of raising capital through multiple broker dealer and RIA channels.

Claire is Chief Operating Officer of Preferred Capital Securities, LLC and President of Preferred Shareholder Services. Claire is a seasoned executive in the financial services industry with deep financial and regulatory experience. Claire previously served as a Managing Director in the Assurance Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. During her 20+ year career in financial services, she advised a range of clients, from start-up businesses to multinational corporations, both privately held and publicly traded. She has extensive experience serving super regional banks, community banks, broker dealers, mortgage companies, payments & technology companies, asset management companies and funds.

Claire has a BS in Accounting from Auburn University and a Masters of Accountancy from Auburn University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Georgia and Alabama

Kathy Mraz has worked as CAO since its formation in 2013. Ms. Mraz has over 25 years of experience in accounting and reporting for the real estate and financial services industries, including most recently serving as VP/Controller for Preferred Apartment Advisors, LLC and consultant to Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc. Ms. Mraz began her career at Coopers & Lybrand. Ms. Mraz is a CPA and holds a FINRA Series 28 license. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.

A 28-year veteran of the financial services industry, Linda Cobelo serves as EVP of Business Development and National Accounts for PCS. Linda manages a sales syndicate of 170+ independent broker dealers and RIA firms focused on strengthening relationships, expanding distribution, and increasing sales. Prior to PCS, she held executive positions at Franklin Templeton, Behringer Harvard, and Raymond James. Linda graduated Cum Laude from Mary Washington College and has an MBA in Finance from University of South Florida.

Orit started at PCS in 2016 following a 17-year career in the Independent Broker-Dealer space where she was a VP of Business Development and a VP of Supervision. As the CCO of PCS, Orit manages and executes policies and procedures which govern the firm’s compliance program. She is responsible for ensuring the corporate compliance program is in-line with the law and latest regulatory requirements. Orit is a versatile and seasoned financial services professional with expertise in Compliance, Supervision, and Sales. Orit graduated from the University at Albany, in New York and has earned the CFP ® designation.

Matt started at PCS in 2018, prior to PCS he worked at a discount brokerage firm working with the equity compensation team, and the equity trading desk. As VP of Internal Sales, Matt manages the team of internal wholesalers while still covering the Florida, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico market. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Economics.

With a background in strategic communications, public relations, and large-scale event planning, Taylor brings marketing savvy and a strong creative eye to PCS. Director of Marketing since 2019, Taylor is responsible for all corporate and product marketing communications strategies across PCS, including branding, digital, PR, events, and collateral. A dual citizen of the U.S. and England, Taylor holds a BA in Strategic Communications from Elon University.
